The Phantom of the Opera

In November, I read "The Phantom of the Opera". Here is my answer to After Reading #1. >>> To the Persian I am leaving this letter for you, because one you were my friend. When I was a child, I was very unhappy. My mother never kissed me. She didn’t want to look at me because I was so ugly. And years letter, when I was a man, I did many terrible things. I know that, and I am sorry now. But I did one good thing in my life. Christine is free. She can marry the Vicomte and be happy. But I can never forget her wonderful voice, and I cannot live without her. And so, goodbye. Erik

The President's Murderer - after reading

I read "The President's Murderer" and here is my answer for after reading# 6.

I think that the army killed old President. They did not like his political strategy and wanted to change the President so that they could control the country as they like. Therefore, old President was killed by them, and their very good friend became new President.

This is just my guess. I would like to know the author's answer. I am also interested in who Marta was.

Love or Money - after reading

1.Jackie went to prison for the murder of her mother and at first nobody visited her. In the end Roger and Diane went to see her, but they didn't talk about Molly.
2. After ten years Jackie came out of prison and married Tom Briggs. They lived very quietly and they didn't have much money, but they were happy.
3. Roger lived in Molly's house. He built ten houses in the garden and was soon a very rich man. Diane found a husband, but she didn't love him. She married him because he had a lot of money.
4. Jackie never saw Tom Briggs again because he sold his farm to Roger and went to live Australia. Jackie never married, and so she never found love.
5. The Clarkson family are nicer people now. After their mother died, they learnt something- they learnt that love is more important than money.

I agree with "Love" is more important than money!! I understand money is necessary to live, but money dosen't make us happy. It is important for me how to use money for.

After Reading – #5.

I like # 2. best. I feel relieved since Jackie is still young and I would like her to be happy. Honestly speaking, however, #1, # 3 and # 4 are more realistic.
