28. Imagine that you are Louis. Write a letter a friend in Australia. Explain what has happened. Tell the story and your feelings about it.

Dear Jim
How are you?
I have sorrow news about my friend. His name was William Harris, who was a writer. I’m a writer, too. I’ll tell you about his story.
William died on the night of January 25th, 2000. He had no family and I was his only friend. I usually went to his house at eight in the evening and we played chess for about three hours.
I went to his house, at the night of Wednesday, January 26th, 2000. The house was completely dark. I knocked at the front door and waited. There was no reply. I found a small window that was open. I climbed through it. When I went into the bedroom, I felt a strange fear. I felt someone was watching me. Perhaps I only imagined it. There was a pillow at the top end of the bed. It was over the head of the person in the bed. It was right over William’s face. I realized he was dead.
I noticed something strange on the pillow. There was a clear on it – like the shape of a hand.
I thought “something” led William to die. How do you feel that is true or not?

Write a ghost story for other people in your class to read.

The college (art college in kyoto)I frequented has a lot of stories of ghost.

Someone said the college was built on a large grave before "Edo" era.

Someone said there were a large shelter under the collage where has remained a lot of people since WW2..

One day I remained in the collage during the night for preparing my presentation.

I went down a stair with my friend.

When we passed corner of the stair, my friend said with small voice "hurry a little".

After we reach on ground floor, he told me there were something on the corner.

"However don't worry about that, I find a lot a night .

Sometime something had a costume of old fighter with sword,

sometime something were with children..Actually I was tired to find them.."

In the fact he had a strong ability to feel something like ghost.

Fortunately I don't have any ability like that

and I hope I wouldn't feel them in the future if something is just next to me.

Hi Yuji,

How are you? I haven't met you long time. Everyone (include you) believe that I'm very ill. Maybe, William said to everyone. I'm not ill.
A few months ago, I was very happy. I went to dance party every weekend. I enjoyed dancing and chatting with my friends.
Recently William said to me, 'Don't go dance party. Don't go outside alone.'. I guess that he was jealous of my friends.
He is kind to me, of course I know that he loves me. I love him, too.
I want to go to the dance party. I want to chat with my friends. Please write to me about New Year dance party. I'm looking forward to hear about my friends Claire, Emma and others.

Q)William says that he is not an interesting person. Do you agree? Why (not)?

Of course I agree that William is not an interesting person, because the story doesn't describe what he is interesting.

As he wrote, he doesn't go out muh, he doesn't dance, He hasn't got many friends. He has a talk with only 2 persons (his wife Julie and his old friend Louis). He is always jealous about Julie because she is very sociable type.

At last William killed Julie, but He was killed by Poldy (probably Julie's mind).

Anyway, I think he is not interesting but terrible.
