Biography of Mr. Hayao Miyazaki

 Mr. Hayao Miyazaki is a film director, an animator, and cartoonist. He was born on 5 Jan 1941 and the second boy in a family who runs a company to assemble parts for airplain. From a very young age, he had wanted to be a cartoonist, but he became interested in an animation when he watched a first feature-length cartoon color film "Hakujyaden" made in Japan.

After graduating University, he worked on several animations like Lupin the Third, Future boy Conan in Toei animation where made the fist feature-length cartoon and various companies. In 1985, he found Studio Ghibli with Mr. Isao Takahata who is a film director and an animator.

Studio Ghibli released "Castle in the Sky" in 1986, "My neighbor Totoro" in 1988, "Kiki's delivery service" in 1989 etc. The film "Spirited Away" was award the Academy award and Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin. In Japanese Academy award, the 5 films were award.

He had insisted antiwar, anti-nuclear plant, human-right issue, environment etc developing a lot of films. He finally withdrew from creating a feature-length film after "The Wind Rises" released in 2013, but he is insisting those issues by various way.
