A Matter of Chance

I read “A Matter of Chance”. At first, I thought this book was a love story, but it was an action. When I finished reading the book, I was sad and my mind was in the dark.

Q1; After reading A Matter of Chance, how important do you think change has been in your life?

I think a Chance is very important for every one’s life because a chance could change our life. For instance, people get married because of “A Chance” when and where they met somehow.

Q1 How important do you think chance has been in your life?

I think chance seems to be equal to be timing. It is important to decide (or get) the timing (or chance).

Q2 Would you like to live and work in a foreign country,like Paul and Jacky?Why or why not?

I would like to live and work in Australia. Melbourne is a beautiful and comfortable place. However, I think I can not work there.

Q3 Which chapter can you remember most clearly? Why or why not?

Maybe it is chapter 13,14 and 15. These situations can be caught easily by images.

After reading "A Matter of Chance"

After reading A Matter of Chance, how important do you think chance has been in your life?

I was fun to read this story. In some chapters I couldn’t stop reading. Question is about chance in my life. I’ve never think about chance I had before. I mean that the chance is a very good opportunity to do something or to change the direction which I want to head. About 20 years ago, I had chance to take my post in Amsterdam but I didn’t. In about 1986, my colleague invited me to go paragliding. I got the chance to start paragliding. If I hadn’t the chance, I wouldn’t injure my legs. In some senses, these were all matters of chance and its influence was serious in my life. However I don’t think that chance is everything. It is only an opportunity. I believe that depends on how we look at it in the end.
