After reading - Gulliver's Travels

Which people or creatures in the story would you most like to meet? Which would you least like to meet? Explain why.

I would like to meet most is the Houyhnhnms and I would like to meet least is Yahoos. I thin the reason why.

Because every word that the Houyhnhnm's master speaks is right and perfect, and he tells always in a very intelligent, gentle way. He seems to me a quite reasonable. I like such a type of people. Also Houyhnhnms can live their lives without lying, stole, disease, crime and wars which human beings have experienced and died.

They use language in order to understand each other and to give and receive information. Houyhnhnms's master says, "If you don't tell the truth, how can people understand each other".

The country of the Houyhnhnms horses (not people) are in control, and their servants are Yahoos. Yahoos are the horrible-looking animals which has human faces looked like Gulliver. But Gulliver hates the Yahoos for their dirty habits and unpleasant character. He thinks how different Houyhnhnms life is from what he was used to. He says to the master of, "In my country all the important people look like Yahoos".

I hate to meet Yahoos which Gulliver tells. But I can't live without such a character like Yahoos. So I always try to be like Houyhnhnms and I would like all the important people in our country the most intelligent in the world for peace than truth making war making money.

Going for a stroll in the British coutnryside

Day 3.

Today I had a lot of walk around with Daniel. His family had a dog and he loved the dog named Patrash very much. It's his important role to take a walk with Patrash every afternoon. he is an important friend for Daniel.

He said he loved to watch the TV program about wildlife like Animal Hospital. It was the house of sick animals and unwanted or homeless animals.

Danial's parent brought Patrash to their home. He was was and was spending very happy days and lived with them. Daniel said he wanted to be an animal doctor in future.

I thought he was very gentle boy. We stopped walking after 30 minutes.

Day 2.

"You can do it if you B&Q it!"

It was Friday. When I got up, and opened the winder, I could see a lot of beautiful flowers. The house was very beautiful. I could sleep on a comfortable bed last night.

Mike and Jane made their house by themselves by DIY. Every weekend they went to DIY centres, and garden centres. They sold good wood and plants for the home. Mike and Jane were proud of their house and garden very much..

They brought me to the garden centres. There were a lot of beautiful flowers, they were very cheap. They bought some of them and brought back to their home. I helped them to plant those flowers.

After reading - My homestay life in London (Part 1)

Day one.

Not something I would want for dinner

London is the biggest city in UK. I stayed in a house there.

There were three people in the family. Mike father, 40 years old, Jane, mother, she was 35 years old, and their son Daniel, he was 10 years old. And I was a new member of their family.

They were all very friendly. Also they were my English teacher. Each of them spoke in nice English. But at first I couldn't understand their English well.

In the evening I ate bread and butter pudding for dinner. They liked that food very much. It was great and delicious. Jane phoned them to a local restaurant and they brought the food to their house.

Mike and Jane are working, and they can't cook large meals in the evenings. So take-away meals from fast food restaurants are very popular now, they said.

We talked a lot about British food in the past and now. After that I changed some presents from Japan.

I helped clear the table with them.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (impressions)

There were several people in this story and were very interesting. Each people in this story had it's strong individuality. I'd like to tell you the scenes which gave me big impressions.

First, Tom's paintingthe fence scene. He made a lot of boys paint almostfences. And aunt Polly said "You are a good boy, Tom. You finished painting all the fences."
Tom likes no school, no work, but he is very clever and had good talent which I don't have.

Second, It was the grave scene at midnight. Tom and his friend saw a grave robbers and murder. The doctor wants a dead body. Because he cuts it up and wants to learn about. So his two men digged for him. They wanted a lot of money from him. Here I learned realities which the doctor want dead body. giving money to dig the grave up. I learned realities which the doctor wants dead body. This scene was very suspensive and the murder occurred suddenly.

The last, Tom enjoyed in his boys days very fleely, vividly and wildly by the Mississippi in a big nature through camping, fishing and swimming. His days were full of adventurous and even romanticism for our modern life.
