Japan beat Egypt in a quarter-final match in the Olympic football tournament. In the first half, Nagai, a fleet forward player for Japan, scored a goal with the best use of his quickness.

An Egyptian player committed a foul with dangerous play, and the referee gave him a red card and made him leave the pitch in the first half.

Later in the game, Japan scored another two goals and won three - nil.

They got a place in the semi-final stage for the first time in 44 years! Then, they are going to play Mexico to advance to the Olympic final.
