The Mark of Zorro

When I finished reading this book, I remembered “Nezumi-kozo” and “Abarenbo shogun”. They are Japan’s historical characters. Many TV shows are made about them.

“Nezumi-kozo” is a thief like Zorro. He steal some money from rich people and then give the money for poor people. He put a hood on his face so that anybody knows who he is. He is a hero of poor and weak people.

“Abarenbo shogun” is a samurai and he has many friends in Edo town. He visits them some time, but anybody knows where he lives. In fact, he is a shogun(king) of the Tokugawa Shogunate. He watches people in the town and if he finds bad people like the dealer and the judge who getting money in wrong way, he punishes them as a shogun.

I think all people need a hero who fight against bad people and help them. There is no difference between America and Japan, the past and the present.

The Mark of Zorro

I read "The Mark of Zorro".

I haven't seen the film of "The Mark of Zorro" ever. I knew the story of "The Mask of Zorro".

After I read this book, I have a question for Zoro. Zoro is Don Diego Vega.
Don Diego want to marry Lolita but he didn't know how to say sweet things to a woman. He can't to hold woman's hand, and play a guitar under her window.

Although Zorro knew how to say sweet things to a woman so Lolita falled in love with Zorro.

I wonder if Don Diego know how to say sweet things to a woman in fact, or not. Maybe Don Diego change his character when he tie mask.

If Don Diego know how to say sweet things to a woman, he should have say Lolita sweet things. If he did this, Lolita would love Don Dieg from begining.

The Mark of Zorro

Its story is interesting. Zorro fought with bad people and he won.
It is a story of the hero. I was interested to Miss Lolita. She is heroin in this story.
I think she is very cute and wise. Some man proposes to her. She dose not select rich man and strong solder. She loves to Zorro. Zorro masked him face. Why does she love?
I think that she was very surprised when she understood that Zorro is Don Diego.
I want to meet the woman like her.

I knew “Mask of Zorro”. It is a movies title. I look this book at first. This book’s title is mistake. I learnt that this story’s original title is “Mark of Zorro.” Zorro marked “Z” on Roman’s face with his sword. I thought his trade mark is his mask before reading this book. Now, I think his trade mark is mark of “Z”. It is interesting to compare the movie with the original. I will compare other stories.

The Mark of Zorro

This story is love and adventure of the mystery knight Zorro who covered the face with a black mask. The true colors of Zorro becomes clear at the end. I was excited till the last and was interesting.

He usually hates to fight, and isn't interested in love to the woman. However, when there are an embarrassed person, he becomes Zorro and helps them. He punish the enemies of the poor and the weak. He talks to a woman in a sweet voice at time of Zorro. Miss. Lolita was charmed by his gap.

There are a film of this story. I haven't seen a film about Zorro. I would like to see a film about Zorro.

Simply say, this is a classical hero and love story. He punishes the enemies - usually they are unfair powerful governor or sergeant - of poor and weak people.

He is sure to fight man to man but never kill the enemy. Instead of kill, Zorro finally marks the enemy with a shape like the letter "Z" as a warning.

By the way, here is a noble and rich man, Don Diego. He is very different from the most of the other young men. He hates fighting and isn't interested in winning the love of women. Such a weak man hopes to marry with Senorita Lorita, of old noble but now ruined Pulido family. As expected, he is refused from her. However, finally he wins her love. Why did he win her love?

Whenever Zorro appears in the front of such enemies, Don Diego has disappeared from the scene. Whenever Zorro escapes after the fight, Don Diego come back here again and always say "What's this noise ?". It is very laughing scene. Who is Zorro??

I remember to have seen the film "The Mask of Zorro" in 1998. I read wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zorro and http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/怪傑ゾロ, then remember the story. At the same time, I have known really many works of books, films, cartoons about Zorro were released in the past.
