The Show Must Go On - after reading

Describe a sporting occasion that you participated in, when you got very excited/lost your temper

This was more than twenty years ago, but I recall when I was in the basketball team at my junior high, my coach always used to put me on the bench. Looking it back now, I think that was for the best, as I was not as tall as the others in the team, and my basketball skills left a lot to be desired. However, when we made it to the finals in the last tournament in our school life, he gave me a chance to play in the very last match. At the time, as I was also a member of our cheering squad, he was expecting me to call out loud for everyone to get motivated so we could give the match everything we had. Since it was so sudden that he told me to play as a substitute, I totally lost myself and just had to shout out some stupid and meaningless words only babies could barely understand. Although it was quite embarrassing and we even lost the match, it is also one of the very exciting and memorable stories of my school life.

Over the holiday, I read "Famous Sports" three times, because in basketball there was Michael Jordan. I also like sports, so I read it three times.

In soccer, I like Messi, Neimar, Ronaldo and Kassillas, because they are brilliant players.

In basketball, I like Lebron James, Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade, and they are called "The Three Kings" in the Miami Heat.

English: Chicago Bulls. Michael Jordan 1997

I tennis, I like Nadal , because he is a left-handed and also fantastic. I learn swimming, but I don't learn golf.

This book was very exciting.

Book review - T School Basketball Club

Bastketball Vicksburg, MSImage via Wikipedia
I found this book deeply inspiring as well as very thought-provoking. And it is truly original.

This story is set in Tokyo. It is about a weak school basketball club which changes by experiencing many hardships. The main character whose name is Youichi used to be in a different school and was in the basketball club, but he got bullied by his team mates because he was a very good player. He was extremely hurt and he stopped playing basketball and went to a different. He meets some people from the basketball club and gets invited to join them. At first, he didn’t want to, but in the end he said “okay”, and they cultivate their friendship in this story.

I have no reservations about this book.

In the story it tells you how fabulous it is to have lots of friends and how important it is to have them. I really recommend this story.

Michael Jordan biography

Dear Larry,

How are you? I think you are very well.

As you know, I'm now playing baseball in Chicago White Sox.
But I can't play now because of money trouble in our team.
I love baseball but I can't play now. I'm now 31 years old, and it is not very young to play. So I can't wait the day that I can play baseball.

I'm now wondering whether I should wait for baseball or not.
Larry, what do you think about it?

Regards,
Jordan
