Hello from Chicago!

Chinatsu and I had a business trip to the US. On Sunday afternoon we walked around Chicago downtown and took many beautiful pictures. We enjoyed American food with locally brewed beer. We will make efforts to improve our English so that we can communicate with our customers more fluently!

Jim sensei,

I am in Hong Kong airport and waiting fro my flight back to Nagoya. I had two meetings in China and felt I should improve my English skill and learn some Chinese words to communicate with my customers fluently.

The picture is the point of the border between China and Hong Kong. The border opens at 6:30 in the morning and it is full of young Chinese students who go to school in Hong Kong.

Singapore shines!!

Hi all,


I am in Singapore for a business trip.It is excessively cold inside the office of my client, but nice weather welcomes me outside.

I would like to share the moment that I always wanted to see. 

This is "Infinity Pool" at Marina Bay Sans!! I wish I could climb up there yet I am here to make a deal. Singapore should be on my trip wish list.

Yesterday, I discussed about business with clients and received the order, happy happy.
People took me to one of the most famous seafood restaurant last night.
Although I saw turtles and frogs in a kitchen, I confirmed that none of them were on my dishes and enjoyed nice crabs and lobsters!! South east Asian spicy foods are so addictive!

For tomorrow, clients will take me to factories and working sites where my products are used. One of the most essential moments in business...that is, I am going to have many reports to write to my bosses on my way back to Japan. 

Goodbye, the latest movies on my way back.

I will transfer to Chicago to have our meeting with a new customer. This trip is the longest stay (10 days) in U.S. for me. I'm getting tired, but I'd like to enjoy the stay!

Penang, Malaysia - postcard from Naomi

As I promised, I am sending this card from Penang. I heard it snowed in Matsumoto yesterday. Here in Malaysia, it gets 36' everyday, but for me it doesn't matter because I leave before 7am to office where air-conditioned and come back to hotel after it gets dark & cooler. I enjoy Indian foods here but not much sight-seeing (no time!)

I'm in Florida on business trip.It's sunny & warm.

I'm jealous that a lot of people (especially young people) are coming here on vacation, beacuse it's spring break now.

I wish I had free time to go to the beach. By the way, there was a lucky thing. I saw space shuttle launching. It was 130 miles away, but clearly.

Town is very clean and beautiful. Dishes are very very delicious for me.
