As I promised, I am sending this card from Penang. I heard it snowed in Matsumoto yesterday. Here in Malaysia, it gets 36' everyday, but for me it doesn't matter because I leave before 7am to office where air-conditioned and come back to hotel after it gets dark & cooler. I enjoy Indian foods here but not much sight-seeing (no time!)
See you when I get back!

Penang sounds a lot warmer, but maybe too warm?
ReplyDeleteWe ended up with a foot/30cm of snow that day; the last fling of winter I think.
I found some really interesting temples & shrines around Penang - Burmese one I particularly remember, opposite another very pleasant one.
Have you visited the Hawker market along the seafront? Or been up to the top of the hill for sunset? Lovely place - explore the island if you can?! Don't work too hard, and look forward to seeing your photos :)
