Where I live - Matsubara, Matsumoto

I live in Matsubara, which is an area in the south east of Matsumoto. Matsumoto is the biggest city in Nagano Prefecture.

It's a residential area, and it's quiet. There are lots of beautiful garden, and now the roses and the azaleas are in bloom.

There are a few shop in Matsubara. There is the shopping mall, but I don't see a visitor at all times. Every summer, there is a small festibal called Iizura Matsuri, and people dance to music called Iizura Ondo.

I think the best things about Matsubara are the beautiful town and the quiet neighbourhood. I often walk with my pet dog, and I feel relaxed, and that's the reason why I like living here so much.

My house - description 3

My house is in Matsumoto. It's a detached house. On the first floor are seven rooms. Upstairs are four bedrooms and a toilet. There isn't a garage. There is a quiet street. There is a flower garden and a lawn. I love my room and living room.

Meet Yukiko - student profile

My name’s Yukiko. I’m from Japan. I was born in Matsumoto, Nagano.

After high school, I went moved to Tokyo for school. I was staying in Tokyo for 5 years, first 2 years for school and other 3 years for work, and then I came back to home town.

In 2000, I have been to Brisbane, Australia as working holiday for 1 year. First I could not speak and catch the English word, so I was really stress and I thought that this stay is mistake choice for me. But I could make a lot of friends there so it was getting better my English and could enjoy in Australian life.  

After working holiday, I have been to Brisbane again many times. If possible, I would like to visit Brisbane again next year.
