Postcard from... Australia

I went to Australia. We went to an aquarium with my uncle.

We saw lots of fish! It was very cool. I ate fish and chips.

I love fish and chips!

Are we having fun yet?

I’d have to say “No, not today!” And thank you Typhoon Tapah. An entire day hanging around at Chitose airport waiting for my flight back to Matsumoto to open for check-in, and then very predictably being cancelled. Long weekend Monday. During the World Cup. Any guesses how long the queue was at JAL?

Only person moaning though was one trumped-up rude git trying to swing his dick in front of his punch-permed boss. He was still at the airport when I finally swerved the weather for Haneda. Katso!

Minor bonus was seeing all of Tonga (the team). Hope they & England had better luck getting to venue #2

So if I’m looking a tad crumpled tomorrow, please give me a break - expecting to get back about 2am :(

Thank you Ms. Yamamoto at the FDA desk for being really patient! Tough day at the office.

(Plane delayed, missed the train, missed the bus...still travelling 24 hours later!)

Writing about The Big Apple - after reading New Yorkers

Write about your trip to New York

It was a first visit to New York when I was 23 years old.

I worked for travel company in Matsumoto, Japan at that time. I wanted to go to various place as much as possible as I thought the experience could be helpful for my job.

As some of my friends lived in Las Vegas and Boston, I planned to go to visit these friends and stop by New York as well. I was interested in New York as it is a famous city in the world. After visiting Boston, I went to New York. I was excited the scenery such as yellow cab, Times Square, the Statue of Liberty which I've seen before in TV and felt that I actually came to New York!

As there is only one day for staying NY, I couldn't enjoy all of things I wanted to do but tried to do as much as possible. That was very enjoyable but I felt NY is too big to enjoy for me, it's kind of same feeling I visit to Tokyo. There is everything in the world in Tokyo and NY, but it's too much for me as I grew up in the countryside.

I thought it is the best for me that I live in countryside and sometimes visit the big city when I want to enjoy new things!

Tales from Longpuddle - new addition! After reading...

Write about a peaceful long journey you made?
Where were you going, and who with? Why were you travelling, and how did you feel about arriving?

I went to travel around the world with my husband. We have a lot in common. We are open mind and love free. Since we've married, we were planning to travel around the world to see various things, share each feelings so that we can understand both of us. We started traveling from Japan and final destination is United Kingdom. We bought cheap air ticket and stayed backpacker's hotel to save money. During the traveling, we met a lot of people. We talked them and became friends. We love drinking, so we communicate with people in drinking.

I really want go India because I like doing yoga. I want stay there to practice. My husband was not much like India, but he went together me. In the beginning he wasn't so enthusiastic, however he liked India finally because he liked indian curry. We went Egypt, Spain, Africa, Italia.

At last, we arrived UK!! We excited to stay there. We liked British music, culture, fashion. We could feel British mood. We didn't want go back to Japan. When we were in airplane, we decided to live UK after few years.
