Sugar Minott obituary | Music | The Guardian
I am not a reggae fan at all - never have been, never will...but this song was one of my favourites along the way, and when I read the news of Sugar Minott's untimely death this evening, most of the lyrics came straight back to mind...and that signature off beat snare, from 'A good thing going'.
Didn't know anything about the singer until I read his obituary; looks like another unsung (pardon the pun) hero who put back into his community all & more. Enjoy the song; who is it about for you?
