English language school in the heart of the Japanese Alps, and English language learners sharing their experiences online. Teachers post regular items about teaching, learning tools, events in the school, their day to day experiences living & working in a foreign country. Students post on whatever takes their fancy - book reports, festivals in home towns, postcards from business trips etc. A little Brit of England in the guts of Japan!

The BFG
The BFG contains not only a lot of jokes, ironies but also love. In this story, BFG & Roald Dahl encourage all children to keep following their dreams at any time,
I think.
Is it "Right or Left"?

Dear Yoko,
ReplyDeleteI know you read this book just for fun, so thank you very much for posting it. Roald Dahl is one of my favourite authors. He's written so many stories, for adults too, and all of them are written with good humour and wit. His children's stories are possibly more difficult to understand because of all the nonsense words that he makes up, although this makes great practice in reading for gist.
I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I'm also looking forward to hearing about your graded reader soon.
Take care,
Tana
